Reed Bailey (rhb1@sfu.ca) BA, Geography and Economics (2006), Thompson Rivers University, Kamloops Master's Candidate, School of Resource and Environmental Management, Simon Fraser University Reed was attracted by the multidisciplinary approach of REM and joined the school in Fall 2008. His research interests include natural resource economics and the resource management of local communities, specifically in developing countries. His current research project uses the results of an extensive household survey in communities surrounding the Royal Chitwan National Park in Nepal to gain a better understanding of the factors that influence behavioral responses to the problem of crop damages inflicted by the endangered one-horned Indian rhinoceros.
